Pass It Along

Lindsey and David were quite the couple.  They were humorous to say the least.  Although we took pleanty of beautiful classy shots, their funloving side surely stole the show.  Capturing the happiness of a bride and groom on their special day is the most rewarding part of wedding photography, wether that means a groom lovingly staring into the eyes of his bride, or something as silly as a groom acting like he is posing for a boy band picture while his bride laughs from the side.

Pass It Along

I am trying to catch up on blogging.  I have had so many great weddings lately that I cannot keep up on sharing them with the world.  Below are a selection of outdoor shots of Christina and Shawn who were married in Avon Lake.  After the ceremony we decided to drive the short distance up to the lake and catch a few shots at the beach.  Avon Lake's beach is nice because you can walk out onto the rocks without crossing the sand.  It was a lovely day with a great couple.

The reception was at Elyria Country Club.  I have driven by the outside since I was a wee lad, yet I never knew how beautiful it was.  The staff was great and took us on a quick cart ride to the back nine and we shot these lovely pics before dinner.  I highly recommend this location for a reception.

Pass It Along

Yesterday I got to shoot a wedding with Jesse out in Mansfield.  It was quite the gloomy looking day, but Jody and Brian sure brought a bit of tropical sunshine!  I loved their tropical theme, and they had an amazing florist!

Jody had a gorgeous dress with a feather sash... so unique!

So which one looks better being held???

Jody and Brian had so much fun with their friends...

I also loved how Brian liked to make Jody laugh.

The reception was also a blast with everything from the limbo to some Michael Jackson Thriller dancing.... more of those to come soon!

Pass It Along

I had the opportunity to photograph Adam and Sarah's big day last Saturday.  Here a few of the results so far.International Destination Photographer based in Cleveland

This one up here is my favorite of the day.  It looks like they are standing under a shower of light.

Pass It Along

Here are a few more from our weekend in Sonoma California

Hollie

This is the exact antique shot I wanted from this wedding.  Perfect expression of the emotion of the day.  My favorite...not quite, but almost

Normally I save my HDR (high dynamic range) for the landscape photos, but this was irrestistable

Dude! ~ what else can I say

This spot was awesome.  Overlooking the vineyard of Gundlach Bundschu we realized how great wedding photos could be.

Hollie gave us a toast in the caverns of this wonderful winery.  No flash, just wonderful ambient light.

She's a coach, so what better option for this group shot!?  The old high school basketball pose.  I've got a few of these in my closet.  This team looks good.

OK, this is my favorite...I'm pretty sure

But the natural emotion behind this one might make IT my favorite

Port and Cigar Bar to close out the night for the guys.  Nice processing? Yes, Nelli imagined this tone for the photo and I am grateful

All around a fun time
