Brad and Brenda Married!
2009-06-02This Saturday was pretty sweet. Brad and Brenda are great. And yes, the wedding party was big. I think my biggest ever. These two had a lot of friends and family celebrating their big day with them. Here are some shots from one of the remarkable moments of the day. We did the photos at the Q. Moments before the beloved Cavs fell to the Magic we were there on the court standing where Lebron hit the game winner a week ago. It was very cool. The Cavs staff was awesome and got me a huge ladder for a couple of these shots. Everyone in the wedding party even had a little shoot around. No offense guys, but I think the Brenda had the highest shooting percentage. I was real tempted to put my camera down and try to throw one down, but hey the pictures were exciting enough.

Missy and Nate Married! - A great setting in the Mohican valley!
2009-05-24Here is a preview of the wedding I shot this Saturday in Mohican. I loved the setting. What a great place to get married. These photos tell some of the story.
The wedding took place in this quaint environment in Butler, OH, under the shelter of a pavilion at the Mohican School in the Out-of-Doors. It was a small quiet wedding, and the expressions on Missy and Nate's faces throughout the ceremony assured me they were truly in love!

One of the most difficult challenges while shooting outdoors is too much backlight, causing the subjects to appear as silhouettes. The speedlight impressed me here with some great even foreground light!

This was a great candid shot by Byron.

Another great thing about shooting outdoors is not feeling constrained to the confines of church walls to take formal pictures. We found this interesting backdrop and decided to take all our formals in front of it. We liked it so much that we we able to squeeze in a few artistic shots as well! Great wedding Missy and Nate!

Lauren and Jacob Married! ...the rushing train
2009-05-22This is one of my favorites from this past weekend with Jacob and Lauren. They were up to trying anything creative, including getting just close enough to this rushing train to get her veil blowing with the train. I've got a series of images from this train that I'm really excited about. This one is the first I've processed. More to come...
jesse Boone:
This is one of those albums that seems to have too many good ones to choose from. I love it when that happens

what an awesome picture, although with being one of the parents this seemed a little scary to me, but very cool.
